There are a million and one questions I’d like to ask Abdallah , but the main one is

what attracted you to purchase a struggling football club like Oldham Athletic, with little or no assets and were going to be a financial burden?

How can we possibly believe that we are progressing in the right direction unless it is to the National League!

We’ve been here before but its surprising and welcoming that AL has sent a message. The decline is incontrovertible. In order to get disillusioned fans back on board there needs to be more transparency and engagement and hard evidence of action and an upward trend. It’s a vicious circle now as we are chasing success on a much tighter budget and too many fans arent investing. On the pitch team recruitment has been mixed with midfield being a huge issue. Off the pitch the North Stand debacle needs to be resolved. Ultimately it’s a results business and while it takes time to put the building blocks in place the frustration is this could’ve started 2 years ago but we live in hope. Success breeds success
