Covid restrictions during 2020 has prevented the Trust from holding our usual fundraising events. This may impact us going into 2021.
We are mindful too, that Covid has had a financial impact on us all and money is tight.
However, we have projects we want to consider in the New year. Initially, these projects will require some research and pre-business planning. Already, we have launched our volunteer page to help us, but the up take has been slow. Therefore, we may have to consider outsourcing the work.
Asset of Community value – Boundary park stadium.
One project under our “Frame the Future” banner is the Asset of community Value. The ACV may well be triggered in the near future as discussions to sell BP are in progress and the outcome is uncertain. We need to have funds available and pledges of support to be in a position to activate the ACV, if the Trust is not happy about the fate of the stadium, its car park or adequacy of provision for a community pitch like Little Wembley.
Can you help?
So, we are looking into fundraising options now to help with those costs. One simple fundraising tool to use is easyfundraising. This is an online shopping tool with over 4000 retailers on it and every time you buy online the Trust receives a financial kick back. The good news is that we have launched this scheme today and you can go to our Support us page to find out more.
Meanwhile, we are looking at other fundraising schemes. To help streamline the lists and before we apply for stuff like licences, we would like to find out what you think.
We have created a poll below to help us make those decisions. All we ask that you be as honest as you can be with your answers – thank you.
